Mimi R. Schanzlin, CFP®

Managing Director

Mimi Schanzlin advises clients on all facets of financial and estate planning, helping them chart a financial course for lifetime wealth creation at the Buffalo office of United Capital Financial Advisors.

She has been guiding clients to live the life they want since 1996. Prior to joining United Capital, Mimi was a Partner and Managing Director at Harold C. Brown & Co., LLC, a wealth advisory firm. Previously, she had been a Commercial Loan Officer at M&T Bank, as well as a CPA in both the Boston and Buffalo offices of Ernst & Young.

Mimi earned her BS from Boston College in 1987 and an MBA from the University at Buffalo in 1993. She is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner. Mimi is a board member of the Western New York Estate Planning Council and a member of the Financial Planning Association of Western New York.

Active in her community as well, Mimi sits on the Investment Committee of the Cullen Foundation, and serves as a member of the Buffalo Club and the Buffalo Launch Club. She is also a proud alum of Holy Angels Academy.
