Peter J. Grogan advises clients on all facets of financial and estate planning, helping them chart a financial course for lifetime wealth creation at the Buffalo office of United Capital Financial Advisors.
For more than 35 years, he has been working with wide range of clients to help them live the life they want. Prior to joining what is now United Capital, Peter was a Partner at Harold C. Brown & Co., LLC, a wealth advisory firm, and a Vice President at Goldman Sachs.
Peter received a BS from the University at Buffalo in 1981 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner. He is also an active member of The Society of Financial Service Professionals, Estate Analysts of Western New York and Financial Planning Counselors of Western New York, and has been a member of the Financial Planning Association of Western New York for over 30 years.
Additionally, Peter is active in the community, currently serving as a Trustee of a private charitable foundation in Western New York. Previously, Peter has served as a trustee, officer, board member and advisor to various Not for Profit organizations in Western New York, including United Way of Buffalo and Erie County, Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, Cradle Beach Camp, Rural Outreach Center and the Alumni Association at SUNY Buffalo, among others.
