Brian McDowell, CFA®
Head of Office
Brian McDowell is primarily responsible for researching and interpreting investment and economic environments, while directing and managing the efforts of research and trading teams at the Denver - Colorado Springs office of United Capital Financial Advisors.
With over 20 years of investment industry experience, he has developed extensive expertise in equities, fixed income and business management.
He graduated cum laude from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in finance. In 2004, Brian earned his CFA® designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is also a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Colorado.
Brian has lived in the Denver metropolitan area since 1995 and enjoys all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer, particularly skiing and hiking with his wife and two sons. As an Indiana native, he also passionately supports Indianapolis pro sports teams.
