Cliff Porter

Managing Director

Cliff Porter focuses on assisting clients with financial and retirement planning at the Charlotte office of United Capital Financial Advisors.

Cliff joined Harbor Capital Management, Inc., what is now United Capital, in 2009 and served as a Senior Wealth Advisor. Prior to that, Cliff served in the United States Marine Corps as an aviator, flying both helicopters and KC-130s. He is a combat veteran of numerous operations and has since retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Cliff graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a B.A. in Economics.

Cliff, his wife Allison, and their three children live in Charlotte. He enjoys the outdoors, boating, and spending time at the beach with his family.
