Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Director of Investments

Edwin Sze is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Director of Investments at United Capital Financial Advisors. His responsibilities include investment solutions for clients, investment platform design, portfolio construction, due diligence, trading and execution, and strategy maintenance and oversight. He also sits as a founding member of United Capital’s Investment Policy Committee.

Previously, Edwin was the Head of Investment & Platform Strategy within the Portfolio Management Group for Workplace & Personal Wealth at Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management. In this role, Edwin was charged with building an investment platform that represents the best of Goldman Sachs for clients within the mass affluent and high-net-worth space. Prior to this, Edwin held a number of other roles at Goldman Sachs offices spanning New York, Singapore and Hong Kong, which included Portfolio Manager, Financial Investment Professional and Financial Analyst.

Edwin graduated from the NYU Stern School of Business with a dual concentration in finance and management & organizations.

Edwin is an avid moviegoer as well as a former competitor in ballroom and Latin dance, and he enjoys attending on- and off-Broadway musicals and trying new restaurants.
