Frank Salb, CFA®

As Chief Investment Officer, Frank oversees the investment and portfolio strategy team for United Capital. He is responsible for the overall strategic investment and asset allocation strategy and provides economic insight and market commentary for clients.

Frank has more than two decades of experience working in the investment industry, from individual financial planning to performing equity research at a large mutual fund company. He has led the investment department of a large institutional retirement plan consultant and served as the investment consultant to sophisticated C-suite retirement plan committees.

Prior to joining United Capital, Frank was the director of investments at Creative Planning, leading the investment research team that recommends portfolios to Creative Planning Retirement Services clients. His experience also includes a significant tenure as the Director of Investments for Lockton Retirement Services. He has worked at both the individual and institutional levels, creating personal financial plans and leading investment research.
Frank received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration (with a major in finance and a minor in economics) from Kansas State University. He also earned his Chartered Financial Analyst® designation from the CFA Institute.

Outside the office, Frank loves spending time with his family while enjoying traveling experiences and coaching his sons’ athletic teams.
