Kathleen Hogan Fanelli is a seasoned financial professional with over two decades of experience in holistic financial planning and investments, focusing on asset allocation, tax-efficient investing, alternative investments, restricted stock transactions, risk management and legacy planning. She is passionate about financial education and takes pride in demystifying complex financial concepts for her clients, ensuring they feel confident and informed in their decisions. She holds both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) and Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designations.
Kathleen spent the early days of her career at Stone & Youngberg (later acquired by Stifel Nicholas) and Oppenheimer & Co. in San Francisco. In 2008, she co-founded the San Francisco office of United Capital, then an early-stage startup, where she played a key role in the firm’s growth and was named Managing Director in 2014. During her time with the firm, she has broadened her experience to include meeting the unique financial needs of clients in the Sports & Entertainment Services field. Today, she leads the practice from Walnut Creek continuing her commitment to delivering thoughtful, client-centric financial strategies.
Kathleen and her husband Darren reside in Walnut Creek where they are raising their two daughters. As a family, they enjoy exploring the outdoors and traveling whenever schedules allow.
