Mark Stancil, Atlanta, assists clients with personal finance and strategic planning at the Atlanta office of United Capital Financial Advisors.
Prior to joining United Capital, Mark managed investment strategy and portfolio management at Peachtree Investment Advisors. Before joining Peachtree Investment Advisors, Mark founded and managed Piedmont Asset Management, LLC, an Atlanta based investment advisory firm. Prior to that, he served as Group Vice President and a member of the Investment Policy Committee for the Personal Investment Counseling division of SunTrust Banks, Inc.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation.
Mark and his wife, Cindy, reside in Marietta with their two daughters.
