As the firm’s Chief People Officer, Megan Schmitz is responsible for leading the overall people strategy, including talent, culture and organizational development. With more than 17 years of human resources experience, she brings a strong track record of building and scaling HR functions and supporting high-growth organizations through periods of expansion and change.

Throughout her career, Megan has played a key role in growing organizations from early-stage teams to large, national workforces. She has led large-scale initiatives spanning talent strategy, employee experience, leadership development, and acquisitions and integrations, with a focus on aligning people practices to business objectives.

Megan is known for her practical, thoughtful approach to people leadership and her ability to navigate complex organizational challenges with consistency and clarity. She partners closely with executive teams to design and implement strategies that enhance engagement, strengthen culture and support long-term growth.

Her areas of focus include organizational design, employee experience, leadership development and fostering environments where individuals and teams can perform at their highest level.

Outside her professional work, Megan serves on the Board of Directors for the Metropolitan Organization Countering Sexual Assault (MOCSA) and is a hospital advocate, providing direct support to survivors. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, listening to podcasts and spending time with her dogs.
