Michael Deutsch, CFP®
Managing Director
Michael assists with clients’ financial needs and manages the day-to-day affairs of the Memphis office of United Capital Financial Advisors. Michael has overseen the financial well-being of a wide range of clients for more than 28 years and has worked in multiple wealth management roles; from trading, client care, and information systems to operations, management, and compliance.
Michael received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration from Christian Brothers University and his Master of Arts in Liberal Education from St. John's College. He has a Public Leadership Credential from Harvard Kennedy School and is a member of the 2019 Leadership Class of Leadership Memphis. Early in his career he obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification.
Outside the office, Michael engages in his non-profit, Uplift Westwood Community Development Corporation which advocates for economic development and public-school education support in the under resourced south Memphis community of Westwood. He continues to pursue resources for Memphis Inner City Rugby, a nationally recognized innovator in leveraging the power of sport for youth academic success.
Michael’s free time is filled with outdoor adventure sports, CrossFit™ and spending time with his wife, Ali, and their three daughters.
