Paul Messiter assists clients with their personal finances at United Capital Financial Advisors.
He has nearly 25 years of experience in financial services and began his career working as an Auditor for a large national accounting firm. Prior to joining what is now United Capital Financial Advisors, Paul worked as a Senior Investment Counselor with StanCorp Investment Advisers and served as a Vice President for Tisch Investment Advisory, Inc.
Paul is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, as well as a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Investment Management Consultants Association. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ohio State University and a Master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University.
Paul makes his home in Ann Arbor with his wife and four teenagers. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities including golfing, running and swimming.
