Managing Director

Rand Gordon assists clients with comprehensive financial and investment planning at the Charlotte office of United Capital Financial Advisors.

Rand joined Harbor Capital Management, Inc., what is now United Capital, in 1997 and served as a Senior Wealth Advisor. Prior to that he worked as a Retirement Consultant for Corporate Plans & Services specializing in qualified retirement plans.

Following time served in the U.S. Navy, Rand earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C. He has also earned the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and is affiliated with the Charlotte, NC chapter of the Financial Planning Association.

Rand and his wife, Ashley, have three children and reside in Clover, SC, a local community just south of Charlotte. Rand teaches Sunday school at his local church, enjoys playing golf, and volunteers coaching local youth sports.
