Steve Payne primarily focuses on developing and implementing financial strategies for clients at United Capital Financial Advisors.

As a wealth advisor for more than 25 years in Southern California, Steve has helped many clients with their goals to ultimately live the lives they want.

Steve graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He later earned his designation as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in 1998.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Steve moved to San Diego with his wife in 1995 and started a family. Together, they have three children, all currently in college. As an avid sports fan, Steve supports the Padres and Chargers, while his wife has remained a loyal Dodgers fan. His great love of music spans a wide variety, from jazz and blues to classical symphonies. He also enjoys swimming, golf, and playing guitar in a local band.
