William Swearingen

Managing Director

William Swearingen II is responsible for helping individuals realize financial freedom and peace of mind. He achieves this by helping clients identify what goals are most important to them and building those goals into a personalized financial plan. William also manages the Dallas office at United Capital Financial Advisors.

William joined United Capital in 2007 and has enjoyed over 35 years of advising clients. William’s primary area of focus is assisting executives and decision makers of major corporations. He has a solid understanding of the advanced financial planning opportunities that are often available to high-level executives, such as concentrated equity positions, RSUs and NSOs. William’s extensive financial advisor background allows him to help clients navigate the planning process, while recognizing firsthand experiences and emotions that may make financial decisions challenging.

William graduated from Texas Tech University with a BBA in Finance.

Outside of the office, William enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and his two grandchildren. William and his wife, Priscila, have been married for 25 years and both enjoy outdoor activities.
